About this role

Our commercial promise is that shells hand over fit-out-ready with services coordinated on drawings, not on site. This role is that promise's owner: one consultant across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire, from concept to as-builts.

The work spans residential buildings, boutique commercial offices, and interior fit-outs — each with services designed early enough to shape the structure rather than fight it.

Role description

What you'll do

  • Design building services end to end: electrical load calculations and single-line diagrams, water supply and drainage schemes, HVAC selection and distribution, and fire protection.
  • Keep every system compliant with the National Building Code 2016 and applicable Indian Standards.
  • Coordinate MEP with structure and architecture on drawings; run clash checks before work reaches site.
  • Prepare tender packages, evaluate vendor offers, and review shop drawings and installation quality.
  • Support statutory submissions and utility processes through approval.
  • Commission systems and close out with as-built documentation.

What we're looking for

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years in building-services design or MEP consulting on building projects.
  • Working command of NBC 2016 and the Indian Standards governing each service.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; MEP coordination tools such as Revit MEP are welcome.
  • The habit of resolving conflicts on paper, where they are cheap.

Good to have

  • Energy-efficient services design — daylighting, ventilation-first cooling, solar readiness.
  • Commercial fit-out experience with services coordinated against a live programme.
  • Fire NOC documentation experience in Karnataka.
